Multiple Faculty Positions in Neuroscience and Neuroengineering

The IDG/McGovern Institute for Brain Research at Tsinghua University invites applications to fill several tenure-track faculty positions at the level of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor.
 

We are seeking outstanding scientists with innovative research programs in the area of neuroscience and/or neuroengineering. Areas of interest include neurological diseases and aging, cellular and developmental neuroscience, neural circuitry and behavior, and neuroengineering. Among these areas, neurological diseases and neural engineering are our preferred fields.

 

Applicants should hold a Ph.D. and/or M.D. with appropriate postdoctoral or independent research experience. Successful candidates will be expected to develop thriving, well-funded research program, and to contribute to undergraduate, graduate, and medical education.

The IDG/McGovern Institute for Brain Research at Tsinghua University was established in 2011, with the generous support from the McGoverns and IDG. The goal is to build a world leading, new technology driven brain research center. The Institute currently hosts more than 20 outstanding faculty members in the fields of neuroscience and neuroengineering. Scientists working in the IDG/McGovern Institute at Tsinghua University use the latest advances in molecular and cellular biology, imaging, electrophysiology, and behavioral techniques to investigate how brain functions and how to prevent and treat brain disorders.
