Introduction

Prof. Wang’s research interests are to elucidate the mechanism of olfaction and he choose drosophila as a model system. His lab uses single-neuro electrophysiology, optical imaging and genetic tools to silence or activate specific neurons in the stereotypic olfactory circuit, helping them studying the synaptic modulation and neural plasticity in drosophila olfactory system.
