2016 Neuroscience Symposium: Genome Editing and Manipulation
Nineteen scientists of neuroscience, computer science, life sciences, and automation from Tsinghua, Peking University, Beijing Normal University.
With the advance and progress of genome editing technology, that reshapes the neuroscience among other fields. The genome manipulation becomes easier and accessible, which was hard to achieve or even impossible in the past. In order to increase the exchange of scientists in the field, Tsinghua McGovern for brain research hosted a one day symposium and hoped the idea exchange would nourish the future collaboration between groups, and stimulate brilliant ideas to better understand and prevent the diseases.
On May 19, 2015, the IDG/McGovern Institute for Brain Research hosted a “Tsinghua McGovern Neurotechnology Lunch Seminar” at Tsinghua University.?Dr.Qikun Xue, Vice President of Tsinghua University, spoke at the lunch seminar.
