题目: Neuroplasticity in chronic pain and comorbid affective disorders

摘要：

Chronic pain represents a major challenge to clinical practice and basic science. It is frequently comorbid with affective disorders, such as anxiety and depression, rendering it more resistant to classical treatment. Neuroplasticity has been proposed to be a key cellular basis for pain hypersensitivity and comorbid affective disorders. Such disease-induced neuroplasticity can happen in both the peripheral and central nervous system and is paramount to alterations in structure and function from synaptic to circuit level. This lecture will discuss the recent advances in understanding the mechanisms of neuroplasticity associated with chronic pain and comorbid affective disorders. New insights derived from these advances are expected to expediate development of novel interventional approaches for treatment of chronic pain and associated affective disorders.

空军军医大学基础医学院神经生物学教研室暨全军神经科学研究所副主任，教授。教育部“长江学者”特聘教授、陕西省中青年科技创新领军人才、陕西省科技创新团队带头人。长期致力于慢性痛与情感障碍共病的神经机制与干预策略研究，研究成果以通讯作者发表在Neuron, Nat Commun, J Clin Invest, Adv Sci, Brain等系列国际权威期刊，并受邀在Trends Neurosci、Pharmacol Ther撰写特邀综述。主持国家自然科学基金重点项目、科技创新2030-脑科学与类脑研究重大项目课题、国家重点研发计划课题等。获陕西省科学技术一等奖，国家基金委创新研究群体骨干成员。担任Pain副主编，Mol Pain、Neurosci Bull编委、中国神经科学学会理事兼感觉与运动分会副主委、中国生理学会疼痛转化研究专委会副主委、全军神经生物学专委会秘书长。
