Brief Introduction: As a flagship international conference series hosted by the IDG/McGovern Institute for Brain Research at Tsinghua University, the Tsinghua Neuroscience International Conference on Brain Development and Disorders aims to advance our understanding of the mechanisms underlying brain development and evolution and how they shape brain function in both normal and pathological conditions. The meeting will highlight cutting-edge research on cortical development and evolution, the emergence and diversification of neural cell types, mechanisms underlying neurodevelopmental disorders, and the origins of neurodegenerative diseases. By fostering interdisciplinary exchange across developmental neuroscience, evolutionary biology, and disease research, the conference aims to promote new conceptual frameworks and collaborations that deepen our understanding of brain development and its links to human neurological disorders. Leading experts from prestigious universities and research institutes across the Americas, Europe, and Asia will present their latest discoveries. Approximately 300 faculty members, students, and researchers are expected to attend. The program will include poster sessions open to participants at all career stages, while shared meals and informal gatherings will provide opportunities for discussion and networking with leaders in the field.
